12 units or less:

Services originate at a central location and spread to each dwelling.  NBN recommend PCD (premises connection device) and collector box arrangement as pit and pipe network is not suitable in narrow driveways and trafficable areas. 

A collector box is a weatherproof enclosure similar to B&R switchboard, to be mounted on solid wall. Mount PDC in the collector box as required. 

1 PCD (4 services) (500x 500 enclosure)

2 PCD’s (up to 8 services) (800 x 600 enclosure)

3 PCD’s (up to 12 services) 800 x 800 enclosure)

Communications conduit

Supply collector box via P50 comms conduit. 

Supply subsequent dwellings via P20 comms conduit from collector box. The Madison Box is not required under this connection arrangement.
