Overview

This project was our most significant to date, involving one preliminary works stage and four development stages across all aspects Auspower Connect was engaged in. Underground electrical reticulation was required to provide electricity to 108 residential lots, Rate 3 major road lighting as part of a roundabout design at the intersection of Abbotts Road and Woombye Palmwoods Road, minor road lighting internal to the development and NBN Pit and Pipe Network to service all lots with fibre to the home (FTTH) technology.

A major aspect of the electrical reticulation was to design in such a way that each additional stage could build upon without impacting on newly existing infrastructure. The full design was initially modelled and released in its appropriate stages for an efficient release to the client.

The NBN Pit and Pipe design was also challenging in respect to coordinating with Telstra and NBN to recover existing abandoned network and providing fibre ready access to the development.
