The builder, Commercial Building Projects, was required to extend the Energex substation at Stapylton and identify the location of underground powerlines to assist with the design and construction process.

Our electrical engineer instructed the builder to engage our Energex accredited Authorised Person to ensure compliance with Queensland Electrical Safety Regulations 2013.

Our Authorised Person performed a site-specific risk assessment with the personnel conducting the work to ensure the protection of workers, public, plant and equipment. The work was considered low risk as the cables were encased in electrical conduit.

Our Authorised Person monitored the works for compliance.
