The builder, Commerical Building Projects, was required to modify the Energex substation at 76 Quinns Hill Road East, Staplyton, and create a new open cable trench within the energised substation for increased electrical load.  

Our electrical engineer instructed the builder to engage our Energex accredited Authorised Person to ensure compliance with Queensland Electrical Safety Regulations 2013.

Our Authorised Person performed a site-specific risk assessment with the personnel conducting the work to ensure the protection of workers, public, plant and equipment. The work was considered low risk as the cables were protected by temporary hoarding.

Our Authorised Person monitored the works for compliance.
