TI0004 – Energex Subdivision Projects – High Voltage (HV) Network Isolation

Our electrical engineers produce engineering designs in accordance with Energex requirements, including Subdivision Standards – RED 00982 and the Works Plan Standard Electricity RED 00991. The electrical engineering design must include a high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) schematic diagram and a network commission plan that identifies Network Isolation Points and Network Switching sequence. On 16 January 2020, Energex issued Technical Instruction TSD0165e – Approved Isolation Points on Energex Network that clarifies suitable network isolation points. This Technical Instruction ensures all Energex personnel and accredited contractors are familiar with Energex requirements.
