The builder, Walter Iezzi Property Group, was required to erect a gantry crane in the building site at Maroochydore. The site was surrounded by overhead powerlines and access for crane operation was limited. Energex instructed the builder to engage an Energex accredited Authorised Person to ensure compliance with Queensland Electrical Safety Regulations 2013.

Our Authorised Person performed a site-specific risk assessment with the personnel conducting the work to ensure the protection of workers, public, plant and equipment.

The work was considered low risk.

Our Authorised Person monitored the works for compliance.
